Drake Best I Ever Had Music Video

Drake Best I Ever Had Video

Drake's Best I Ever Had music video was finally released on the web yesterday evening (July 1st 2009). The song from Drake's So Far Gone Mixtape has been on constant rotation on many radio stations throughout the US and internationally. This song plays a major role in the enormous Buzz that has been surrounding Drake. Drake's fans especially the females has been anxiously awaiting the music video to accompany their now favorite song and now it's here. The best I ever had video was directed by Kanye West and portrays drake as a coach of a female basketball team with players who cannot play but still he tells each of them that they are the best.

Now a day later after the release of the music video there's mixed emotions surrounding the choice of video concept. Some of Drake's fans stated that they were disappointed, because I guess they expected a more sensual feeling instead of the playful approach taken by director Kanye West.

Drake however explained to MTV why he choose this approach.

"Some of us younger men, we refer to our affiliation with women like a roster," Drake said, explaining the clip's concept to MTV News. "You have key women in your life when you're single and doing your thing."
